Who’s your partner?

Who’s your partner?

I spent the end of last week up on the Hunter Valley on a business retreat. In the between the fun stuff we talked about partnerships. These partnerships are the ones where you combine your services with another business that has a similar clientele.

It allows you to significantly reach more customers and ramp up your business. An ideal partner will be aligned with your business values and offer a different but complimentary service to yours.

So often in business we are focused on getting ahead through the continual heavy lifting however it doesn’t always need to be that way.

There are smarter, easier ways. By working together you can achieve more. When you can find common ground you can offer your clients a more comprehensive solution. It makes your business a more attractive one.

These partnerships can be arranged on a project to project basis that can happen alongside your regular business.

As I was talking about partnerships last week I reflected on my personal life. Next week I will blend families with a woman who is my perfect partner. We support and encourage each other to be the best we can be.

I can see the challenge of raising my two children and her with her three can be easier when we combine. We will be able to support each other in so many ways. There will be challenges as well, but they will be outweighed by the benefits.

So what opportunities are you missing because you are playing a smaller game on your own? Who could you work with to be bigger and better than you are now?

There is someone right now looking for the services and products your provide to complete their offering in the marketplace.
