Why this video works

We often film highlights of events. It’s great to be able to capture the atmosphere of an event, to tell the story and to show the scale and energy of an occasion.

Recently we filmed an awards breakfast for the Sydney region of an international business networking organisation – BNI – Business Networking International.

The reason this video worked is not just because it promoted the sponsors in context in a way that was interesting. It wasn’t only because we told the stories in a few seconds about how being involved in this organisation transformed businesses. Nor was it because the keynote speakers took a moment to pass on some simple valuable tips on which to focus.

It wasn’t because with a few pans of the room you could see the scale of the event – over 400 hundred people in attendance at a 6am breakfast event.

The reason this video was successful was because it worked for the client – Bob Greenup. It has lifted his standing in the international BNI community as the Regional Director of one of the most impressive regions in the world. The head of Australia now wants to run their events off the back of this Awards breakfast after watching this video.

Videos have the power to convey so much more than photos or words alone. They inspire, motivate and move people.

Congratulations Bob on highly successful event and a great outcome.
